The Initiative

Pause for Peace is a massive global initiative to unify the world through the universality and power of music and the arts. At its core, Pause for Peace is a worldwide 24-hour concert featuring youth in over 96 countries, which is 50% of the world’s countries. It is intentionally designed to meet three main objectives:

• Provide the world’s population with an opportunity to come together at a time in history when we are becoming deeply divided.

• Supply a global platform to show the world what global unity and peace can be.

• Give youth around the globe the means to express themselves and their desire to create a better world.

Concert Date & Logistics

The 24-hour concert will take place on October 4, 2025. Prior to the concert, on September 21, the International Day of Peace, we will present the United Nations with an appeal for a global ceasefire on the day of the concert. The appeal will contain 100,000,000 signatures and will be presented live.

On October 4, thousands of youth performances will take place in local communities in all 24 time zones. Each youth ensemble will have the opportunity to submit an entry to win the opportunity to be live-streamed and/or televised globally.

One main location will serve as Mission Control, which will host a 24-hour commercial concert festival and serve as the main hub for all of the mass communication efforts. High-profile hosts will be stationed at this location. We also intend to host five other 24-hour commercial concert festivals in major cities throughout the world to reach the main six continents.

This format ensures that participation and attendance is available to the mass global public. Those who want to attend a record-breaking 24-hour concert can purchase tickets to do so in one of these locations. Others can attend their own community youth concerts where a large screen will also allow for them to watch the event at Mission Control together after their community concert ends.

Everyone else will have the opportunity to watch both local youth concerts and the 24-hour concert at Mission Control through two means:

• Streaming channels. There will be one central channel that houses 24 channels by time zone. This is where everyone can watch the community youth concerts.

• Televised channels. We will partner with at least one major television network to broadcast Mission Control for 24 hours with hourly features of community concerts in every time zone location.
