Our trip to NYC with Earth Caravan in partnership with the PEAC institute was truly inspiring. The love for our planet and care for future generations was felt everywhere we went, giving me hope for a world free of nuclear weapons. It was especially moving to hear the testimonies from Hibakushas, Mr. Hamasumi and Mr. Kido. 

For all of the Hibakushas and all those who perished, we should keep fighting for nuclear disarmament — they should never be forgotten. We must strive to live in a world where there will never be another Hiroshima or Nagasaki. We need a world free of nuclear weapons; a world where all human beings live together in peace and harmony. Thank you, Earth Caravan and the PEAC institute for including Yasmine and myself in all of the amazing work you do all over the world.
